Hi y’all! I’m so excited to serve our state association over the next couple of years! I am a licensed and board-certified music therapist based out of metro Atlanta, Georgia. I have my Masters in Music Therapy and Bachelors in Music Therapy, both from Georgia College and State University (Go Bobcats!!). My research focus during my Masters was centered around how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted burnout in collegiate-level music therapy students.

During my professional career, I worked at Georgia College’s music therapy clinic as a Graduate Assistant, facilitating music therapy sessions in Baldwin County Schools and individual music therapy sessions in the clinic. After graduating from Georgia College and moving home to the Forsyth County area, I began working in private practice and as a music teacher at a preschool. I’ve presented at regional music therapy conferences on both my thesis research, and a documentation system I created during my Master’s program. I’m now working full time at Triad Music Therapy, a private practice in the metro Atlanta area!

I’m looking forward to connecting and meeting music therapists and students throughout the state during this role!
