Georgia Music Therapy Internship Sites
In music therapy training, students must complete an approved clinical internship before sitting for the CBMT board exam. There are two main types of internship sites: National Roster Internship (NR) sites and University-Affiliated (UA) Internship sites. The main differences are in approval, oversight, and relationship with the university.
The following internship sites include NR internships and UA internships within the state. For a full list of national roster sites click here. UA internships are created by and limited to a specific university, with more direct faculty involvement. Students should consult with their university to confirm they have a partnership with any of the following UA sites listed below.
