Katie Robison - Treasurer

Katie (Olsen) Robison is a licensed and board-certified music therapist based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Her degrees include Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Anna Maria College and Master of Music in Music Therapy from Arizona State University. She has trained in Neurologic Music Therapy, and is a HealthRHYTHMS and Rhythm2Recovery group drumming facilitator.

Katie's professional career has been focused on working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in the context of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, as well as nursing homes. She currently works full-time at Georgia Regional Hospital in Decatur. In her free time, Katie enjoys volunteering with Kate's Club: a non-profit organization providing free grief and bereavement programming to children and their families who have experienced the death of a sibling or parent.

During her time in school, Katie served as the treasurer of Anna Maria College's Music Therapy Club, as well as President of the New England Region of the American Music Therapy Association Students. She looks forward to the opportunity to serve her community of music therapy professionals and students through the Music Therapy Association of Georgia!
