Early Childhood Music and Movement Convention

The 2014 Early Childhood Music and Movement Association Convention will be held June 22-25, 2014 in Norcross. Some guest speakers include John Feierabend, Lynn Kleiner, and Carol Penney- among others! There will also be an appearance of Dave Holland, your favorite drum circle facilitator. ATLANTA— A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab, a not-for-profit organization operating three skilled nursing facilities in the Atlanta area, is now offering music and horticultural therapy within its rehabilitation and therapy department.

BEAT TEAMS - an exciting initiative from Terra Rising Records

Have you heard about the exciting initiative that has been started by Terra Rising Records and is taking the music-nation by storm?
In addition to filming and producing a full length documentary titled, “Universal MusiCARE: The Music Therapy Experience,” Terra Rising Records has also launched a national initiative called, “Beat Teams.” The goal of this initiative is to simply put instruments into the hands of teachers, music therapists and community music leaders.
