Fellow MTAG members,
Have you heard about the exciting initiative that has been started by Terra Rising Records and is taking the music-nation by storm?
In addition to filming and producing a full length documentary titled, “Universal MusiCARE: The Music Therapy Experience,” Terra Rising Records has also launched a national initiative called, “Beat Teams.” The goal of this initiative is to simply put instruments into the hands of teachers, music therapists and community music leaders.
How is Terra Rising doing this?
The Interdisciplinary Society of Quantitative Research for Music and Medicine accepts a wide variety of research papers ranging from ethnomusicology, music therapy, music education and performance topics. The conference will feature an opening concert of original Brazilian music.
