The George Center for Music Therapy, Inc. is committed to providing a creative approach to therapy, by fostering an environment of fun and achievement. We provide individual and group music therapy services in the Metro Atlanta area. Our programs include adaptive music lessons, early intervention, Kindermusik, mental health support services, and therapeutic support of individualized goals.

The George Center is owned and operated by Jamie George, MM, MT-BC, NICU-MT. Jamie is a nationally board certified Music Therapist. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University, and a Master of Music, with a concentration in Music Therapy, from the University of Georgia. Jamie completed her graduate research studying music therapy and its effects on children with sensory processing disorder. She completed her Music Therapy internship with the Fulton County Public School System, working with exceptional children. For 3 years Jamie served as Assistant Director for Therabeat, Inc. at In Harmony Pediatric Therapy in Canton, GA. She also provides music therapy services, consulting, and staffing for several local non-profit organizations such as, FOCUS (Families fo Children Under Stress), Kate's Club, and Jacob's Ladder School and Therapy Center. Jamie is a member of the American Music Therapy Association, and serves as treasurer, reimbursement chair, and is a member of the government relations task force for the Music Therapy Association of Georgia. She is a licensed Kindermusik® educator and is in the process of becoming a certified NICU-MT and a credentialed early interventionist. Jamie is an accomplished vocalist, and comes to the Atlanta area after having performing for several years in New York City and Disney World, in Orlando, FL.
